Step1 Hair Analysis

Determine the condition and texture of hair by checking shafts, roots and ends. Refer to diagnosis chart to identify what solutions to apply to hair.

Step2 Pre-Shampoo
Shampoo hair to remove dirt and oil. Be sure not to scratch scalp with nails

Step3 Pre-Treatment
Replenish damaged or dry hair by applying Amino Conc.
Step4 First Solution
Apply the appropriate solution chosen in Step 1 to hair making sure to keep 1/2 inch away from the scalp.Leave solution on hair according to the chart.

Step5 Checking
There are three different types of check testing all of which must be done.
1. The Shaft - Tie the hair strand in a knot to check the elasticity of the strand. If the knot stays in place then the hair is ready for the next step. If the knot loosens and comes undone the hair needs more processing time.
2. The Roots - Stretch the hair strand. If the hair stretches like a rubber band it is ready. If it does not it needs more processing time.
3. The Ends - Comb the hair all the way through from root to end. If hair stays straight then it is ready. If hair has a wave to it and moves then it needs more processing time.

It is necessary to check every spot of hair. If necessary re-apply solution to the hair but use a one step weaker solution. Check hair at the minimum time for whichever solution was chosen.
If hair has not softened, leave solution on until maximumtime. Do not rinse off solution until it is ready. If it is necessary to do so before hand then rinse and re-apply the solution on the same hair.

Step6 Shampoo & Treatment
Apply Amino Wrap Shampoo to hair. Make sure it foams then rinse off well. Be sure not to pull or
crumple hair. Gently towel dry. Apply mixture of Amino Conc and Hair Pack Treatment all over the
hair. Do not rinse it off. Go to the next step.

Step7 Towel dry & Protect ends
Towel dry hair 60%. Apply Packing Essence to protect the ends from heat.
Step8 Winding
Take a section of hair and wrap it around the rod. After each rod is wrapped, place a rubber band around the rod. Depending upon the width of curl desired, this will determine the size of the section of hair and rod size used. Hair will curl twice the size of the rod.

Step9 Heat Protection, Rod Cap and Connect the Rods & Wires to the Machine.
Place heat protectors in between the rods and scalp. Place the stopper in between the hair and rubber band. Place the rod cap over the rod. Connect the machine wires to the rods.

Step10 Heat
Set up the timer and temperature and turn on machine. After three minutes check rods to see if rods have heated up. Heat should be used for 6 to 12 minutes depending upon the type of hair. Coarse hair may take longer. When the time is up, cool down for 5 to 7 minutes leaving the rods in the hair. Unplug the wires and take off the rod caps, heat protectors and stoppers.
Step11 Neutralizing
Apply the appropriate neutralizer all over the rods. Let set for 5 to 7 minutes. Apply second coat of neutralizer. Let set for 5 to 7 minutes.

Step12 Remove the Rods & Rince
Remove the rubber bands and the rods. Rinse with warm water. Condition with Amino Film Wrap Treatment.

Step13 Style
Towel dry hair 70%. Apply Hair Body Up or Hair Pack all over the hair depending on hair type. Take a big section and twist it while blow drying to bring out the curl. Continue process until hair is completely styled.
